On Saturday, November 21st, 4 friends and I made the 6 hour drive to Mesquite, NV to run in the Mesquite Marathon. This race took us through 3 states. Starting in Utah, running through Arizona and finishing in Nevada. It was a deceiving race. The elevation chart showed the first 11 miles were downhill. That was true, but we were not prepared for the hills that came after. I bonked hard at mile 22. Thanks to Teri for pushing me through to the finish. There were no PR's to be had for any of us. It was the hardest marathon for all of us, but we survived and finished!
