Please Help Me Help My Mom and Others!

Everyone knows someone affected by heart disease or stroke. For my mom, Lillie Simmons, a/k/a Miss Lillie, I will be running in this year’s Start! Heart Run on September 6th. I have set a personal goal to raise funds for the American Heart Association and need your help to reach my donation goal. We are raising critical dollars for heart disease and stroke research and education.

You can help me reach my goal by making a donation online. Click on the link below and you will be taken to my personal donation page where you can make a secure online credit card donation. The American Heart Association's online fundraising website has a minimum donation amount of $25.00. If you prefer to donate less, you can do so by sending a check directly to me.
Your donation will help fight our nation’s No. 1 and No. 3 killers—heart disease and stroke. You are making a difference. Thank you for your support.

How Sweet is My Husband!!!

I was sitting at my desk when the FTD man came in with this big box of flowers. I signed for it and thought someone is really lucky! To my surprise it was ME who was lucky!
David sent them to me and it's not my Birthday or anything! I figure this will buy him at least one week out of the doghouse (Hee Hee).
Thanks sweetie! This made my day!

AAAAYYYY! The Fonz is Cool!

Milwaukee unveiled a bronze statue of the Fonz today. "Happy Days" was one of my favorite shows growing up and I have fond memories playing "Happy Days" at recess in elementary school. I of course was Pinky Tuscadero.

...and the Games Continue!!!

On Saturday, David competed in his second event of the Corporate Games with Ebay. They went bowling! It was a lot of fun and David was the best bowler on the team. Unfortunatley, they didn't win a medal. There were some hardcore bowlers competing. The team right next to David's were amazing! One guy bowled a 289!

David waiting his turn.

Must get STRIKE!!

Nice balls!

Ahhhh, Memories!

My sister sent me these photos and I couldn't help getting a little misty eyed about what once was!
This photo was taken the day before I left on my mission. We were standing on my stoop in Manhattan waiting for the cab to come and pick up my sister and my sweet pooch, Spike, who were traveling back to Atlanta. I did not want to let Spike go. He just kept giving me kisses which made me cry. This photo makes me miss Spike and New York! Spike is still in Atlanta. My mom and her husband fell in love with him while I was gone, and decided they were not giving him back. I know how they feel, he is so cute!

This photo is of my mom on Mother's Day 2007. She was always so stylish. This photo makes me want her to get better even sooner so she can enjoy her life the way she used to. She is so cute too! I miss her!

Doggies Are Funny! Since When Do They Lay Like This?!

Zoe laying with her little legs stretched out straight behind her! She is also sporting her new denim diaper!

Toby does it too! I have never seen dogs lay like this!

Even my sister's dog Ace lays this way! Funny pooches!

Olympic Fever!!!

David and I have been glued to the television every night since the Olympics began (it's even more cool since we just got HD on out TV)! We've got Olympic fever!!!!

With that I thought I would take you back to the 1996 Olympic games in Atlanta, where my twin sister and my mom volunteered during the games and said it was the coolest thing they were ever a part of. Here are some great photos of my sister's Olympic experience!
Angel Whitworth wins the gold medal!!!

A new world record?

I love this photo. You can see all the people, the track and the olympic flame in the background!

Let the Games Begin!

Forget about the Olympics! David is participating in the Corporate Games where the real athletes are (ha ha)! Yesterday's event was a grueling game of miniature golf. David did pretty good (he did better the night before when we went out to scope out the course- he shot 1 under par).
His team did not medal, but the other Ebay team took first place! Go Ebay!

Sunday in the Park

After church, David and I decided to take the dogs to a park near our house to let off some steam. They ran around like crazy, rolled around, and then both of them just chilled out in the grass.

Zoe just chillin!

Zoe is Just a Baby!

While Zoe is doing well with her other training, we have found out that she hasn't done so well with her potty training, so she has to wear her doggie diaper.

What will the dog people come up with next?!
(She does look so cute in it though)
